Yam Content Studio ("the App", "we", "us") is a content scheduling tool that helps a single creator or brand plan, prepare, and publish content to their own connected social media account(s), including TikTok. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

1. Information We Collect

When you connect your TikTok account to the App, we may collect and store:

• Basic profile information provided by TikTok's API (such as display name, username, and profile picture), used only to identify which account content is being scheduled for.
• OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens issued by TikTok, used solely to publish content on your behalf.
• Content you create or upload within the App for the purpose of scheduling and publishing (captions, media files, hashtags).
• Basic technical logs (timestamps, API response status) used for troubleshooting and reliability.

We do not collect sensitive personal information, and we do not access data belonging to any TikTok account other than the single account you have explicitly connected.

2. How We Use Information

• To authenticate your account and maintain your connection to the App.
• To schedule and publish content to your connected account, as directed by you.
• To call required TikTok API endpoints (such as checking creator posting eligibility) before each publish action, as mandated by TikTok's platform policies.
• To diagnose errors and improve the reliability of the scheduling pipeline.

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage and Security

Access tokens and content are stored on infrastructure controlled by the operator of the App and are not shared with unrelated third parties. Reasonable technical measures are used to protect stored credentials, including restricted access and secret rotation practices.

4. Data Retention

We retain account tokens and scheduled content only for as long as your account remains connected to the App. If you disconnect your account or request deletion, associated tokens and stored content are removed within a reasonable timeframe, as described below.

5. Your Rights and Data Deletion

You may disconnect the App from your TikTok account at any time through TikTok's own account settings, which revokes our access immediately. You may also request that we delete any data we hold about you by contacting us using the details below. We will confirm and complete deletion requests within 30 days.

6. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with TikTok's official Content Posting API and may use general-purpose infrastructure providers (such as cloud hosting or AI-assisted content generation tools) to prepare content before it is published. These providers process data only as necessary to perform their function and do not retain your TikTok credentials.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for use by adult creators and brand operators managing their own accounts. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from individuals under the age of 13 (or the relevant minimum age in their jurisdiction).

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page.
